Sculpture

This sculpture was made when Jeanne took us out for glass blowing during a Wednesday. It was an amazing experience. We worked near an oven which is over 2300 degrees!!! The way we did was also very fancy. First, I took an iron stick and poke it in to the heated glass pot which contains liquid glass. Then I used a mod to form the glass into ball shape. Then I reheat until it became soft again in order to put some color on it. The color I pick represent the earth. Then is the final heat to get the color in and build the shape. This is one of the coolest things about art I have ever done. This is why artists are all good observers of life and they are being respected.
